Nymbus is a founder-led studio in Oakland working with appointment-based local businesses across the East Bay. The person who scopes your project is the person who builds it. Here is how that works in practice, and what we will not promise you.
Nymbus is Kyle Gerome, a web designer, SEO specialist, and Google Ads manager. One person scopes the project, builds it, and answers the email six months later. That is the whole pitch: no account manager relaying instructions to a production team, and no template with your logo dropped into it.
Based in Oakland and working across the East Bay. For most projects that means we can sit down with you in person, look at the same screen, and hear how customers actually describe what you do.
Get found in local search, look worth the price, make booking frictionless. Med spas, barbershops, and service businesses all win on the same mechanics, which is why the same approach keeps working.
Rankings, click prices, and how fast a market moves are not ours to promise. What we control is the site, the structure, the profile, and whether the numbers are being measured at all.
You describe the business and where customers fall off. We tell you honestly whether we can help and roughly what it would take. No deck.
Current site, Google Business Profile, and the searches that drive calls in your category. That produces a page list and a fixed quote.
Design and development, mobile-first, static, with the booking path and conversion tracking wired in rather than bolted on later.
Redirects, sitemap, structured data, and Search Console in place from day one so the work is measurable.
Some clients stay on a monthly retainer for SEO, content, and Google Ads. Some launch and run it themselves. Both are fine.
Four projects, four different problems.
Premium services presented like a commodity, a buried credential, and half the local market unable to read the site. Read the case study →
No discoverability, no information architecture, no conversion path. Read the case study →
High-intent searches with no results, and a trust gap to close before anyone would call. Read the case study →
Vectorised a legacy logo, designed the collateral, and coordinated production for the pop-up. Read the case study →
A website is evidence, not decoration. Someone deciding where to spend several hundred dollars reads your site as proof that you are worth it. Typography, spacing, and whose face is on the page do more of that work than any feature list. A template says the business is interchangeable with every other business using the same template.
Measurement is not optional. If nobody can say which pages produce calls, every decision after launch is a guess, including how much to spend on ads. Conversion tracking and Search Console go in at launch, not when someone finally asks for a report.
Say the honest thing early. Rankings, click prices, and how fast a market moves are outside anyone’s control, and pretending otherwise just moves the disappointment later. If a project is not a good fit, the first call is the cheapest place to find that out, for both of us.
Kyle. Nymbus is founder-led, so the person who scopes the project is the person who builds it and the person you email six months later.
Appointment-based local businesses in the East Bay: med spas, salons and barbershops, and independent service businesses. Enough overlap between projects that the playbook keeps getting sharper.
We do not rebuild businesses on proprietary page builders, we do not force a platform migration to make our lives easier, and we do not promise rankings or lead volumes that nobody can control.
Oakland, CA, working with businesses across the East Bay: Berkeley, Richmond, Concord, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, and Fremont. Close enough to sit down with you in person.
What we do: web design, SEO, Google Ads, and medspa web design.
No pitch deck, no pressure. Tell us about the business and where customers fall off, and we’ll tell you honestly whether we can help.
